Had a lady slam her car door into mine in a parking lot so hard it nearly went thru. Had it on camera that she shook my suv. Officer so-in-so refused to do paperwork on a "door ding". $800 worth of damage I had to pay out of pocket because he wouldn't write up an accident report. Thanks for that.
Never had any other issues with the local law enforcement.
The Overland Police told me a tow truck was coming to get my car without telling me that the tow place, Doc's towing, was going to charge 30$ a day. I was in an accident that was not my fault. I asked the police if I needed to call AAA for a tow truck and he said that one was coming already. The fact that they took advantage of me when I was emotional and hurt and assured me that 'it's okay, a tow truck is coming to get it' without saying how much or that it would even charge such a high price is sketchy. Don't trust the Overland police.
